Just got back from the gym where I snagged a copy of the menu for the soon to be opened George's at Alys Beach - the new venture for George and Ann Hartley.
Wow am I excited and impressed! Now, we all know by now that I love food...MMM food. And I also love going out to eat - no dishes, fun with family and friends YAY. Eating out on my current food plan has been a bit difficult. I can go most any place and find something suitable, but there is usually only one choice, take it or leave it.
So at George's the menu is divided into "Misbehave" and "Behave" sections across the board - appetizers, entrees, etc. And I can't wait to try a bunch of things .....
Ginger Chicken...... Wood Grilled Tofu on veggie soba noodles.... whole wheat wraps.... Wild Salmon!!!
I could go on and on and on, (and ON!) But I wont. Suffice to say I'm sad to miss the grand opening on Monday, I'll have to check it out the next week. Ya'll South Waltonites head over there and report back on what I should try first!

I share the love of going out to eat with you!!! It is fun to eat thing that you would not make for yourself at home. Although we have made to incredibly tasting and complicated meals at home. And, of course no dishes is always great.
We just had the pleasure to have lunch at George's. What a refreshing change to have some healthy options, of course the famous fried fish avalible to those who wish to "mis-be-have". I see this becoming a frequent hang out for us...
